Sarah Henshaw has more than 20 years of working with nonprofit organizations of all sizes around the world in program design, grant/proposal writing, partnership cultivation, strategic planning, and board development. Sarah runs a nonprofit consulting and advisory small business, Leaves of Change VT, providing learning opportunities and employment for VT-based nonprofit professionals and relationship-based support for nonprofits. Sarah has been on both international nonprofit boards, as well as small local nonprofit boards. She is currently on the Clarina Howard Nichols Center Development Committee (ex-Board Chair) and the Stowe DRB as an alternate member.

Dave McAllister is the Executive Director/CEO at Laraway Youth & Family Services. Dave has been with Laraway for 23 years, serving in each department in various roles. Dave has two graduate degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership. Dave is the President and Treasurer of the Vermont Coalition of Residential Provider
Dave McAllister is the Executive Director/CEO at Laraway Youth & Family Services. Dave has been with Laraway for 23 years, serving in each department in various roles. Dave has two graduate degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership. Dave is the President and Treasurer of the Vermont Coalition of Residential Providers and Chair of the Healthy Lamoille Valley Steering Team. Dave has also been an active community member and in his spare time volunteers to coach basketball and golf. Dave is the President of Morrisville Basketball Association, Patriots Youth Football, and The Northern Vermont Youth Football League. Dave is an active Freemason and Rotarian. His greatest passion and time invested is as an active Scouting volunteer locally and across the state.

Martha Ide is a retired nurse who spent her career advocating for those individuals in need. Her career focused primarily in school heath. She was considered a leader in her field of school nursing. She lent support and guidance to new school nurses and many school colleagues. She enjoyed the “band-aid duty” as well as leading the schoo

She lent support and guidance to new school nurses and many school colleagues. She enjoyed the “band-aid duty” as well as leading the school health effort within her school and profession. Some of you may remember her brief employment at GMMS!
In retirement, she continues to serve on Boards, volunteers her time to support wellness efforts and she will tell you foremost priority is to be available to her five growing grandchildren.

A native Vermonter, Bill returned to Vermont in 1980 as the Program Director for Washington County Mental Health Services' developmental disability program. Bill began his career working in a large state institution in Massachusetts for people with developmental disabilities. A native Vermonter, Bill returned to Vermont in 1980 as the Program Director for Washington County Mental Health Services' developmental disability program. In 1992 he left Washington County Mental Health to become the Executive Director of Upper Valley Services, a position he held for 29 years until his retirement in late 2021. In 1997 Bill also co-founded and co-directed ARIS Solutions which continues to provide fiscal services and support to several Vermont agencies. as well as offering support for persons in Vermont and elsewhere who self manage their own services. Bill has served on numerous State committees and work groups, and has consulted nationally on a variety of topics including supported employment service models, system management, and organizational change initiatives. Bill currently resides in Florida and has two family members who receive their services and support from Vermont providers.

A native of Guilford and current resident of Craftsbury, Vermont Daniel has worked on the front lines and in leadership positions in health and human services for more than two decades. Daniel currently serves as executive director of the Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery. He previously served as executive director of North Central Vermont Recovery Center, VP for Advocacy and Community Relations at VAMHAR, and as Executive Director of Jenna’s Promise. He is a driven and innovative community and relationship builder who is especially dedicated to the cause of recovery from addictions and mental illness and their intersections with sexual and domestic violence, poverty, the carceral system and other challenges our communities face.

Patty Grassette has been on and off the GMSS board for many years, advocating for support of shared living providers and community members with development disabilities and specialized needs. Patty lives with her SLP in Lamoille County.

Michele Streeter has taught in Vermont public schools for over 30 years both as a classroom teacher and an early childhood special educator. She is currently employed by UVM as a Family Resource Consultant on the Vermont Interdisciplinary-Team, which works with Vermont children (3-22 years old) who require intensive special education. Mic

Michele lives in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom with her husband and dog, Murphy.
